PERFORMING ARTISTS: We are a smaller festival with a competitive process for artists vying for a limited amount of spots on the lineup. Priority is given to local acts; applications will be reviewed through the fall and only those selected will be contacted. Thank you for your interest in being a part of the festival.
Musical artists interested in performing at the Whoop & Hollar Folk Festival can submit their email applications to info@whoopandhollar.com between September 1st and December 31st.
Due to the high volumer of applications received each year, we cannot guarantee artists will be able to play in the foreseeable future. Please note that our artistic director is reviewing applications simultaneously with the submission process.
We encourage artists to try resubmitting applications (an informal email is all we are looking for, which must include a website/link, music samples, and short bio) every year, as you just never know when an opportunity to play may arise - nevertheless, applications will be kept on record! EPK (Electronic Press Kit) files are greatly appreciated, if possible.
We value and support local musicians, strive to cater to the diverse tastes of our festival community, and do our best to bring new artists to our festivals each year. We look forward to hearing from you.
Artisan vendors, visual artists (i.e. art installations), and workshop leaders interested in participating in Whoop & Hollar can email info@whoopandhollar.com for more information. No food vendor applications will be received at this time.
